Kelly was rarely shown as a Baby Puppy, taking a back seat to
her litter sister "Prue", as it was difficult to show two babies
in the same class. From the age of 6 months Kelly was shown in the
older puppy Class (ie for puppies between 6 to 12 months old) and from 9
months of age she was shown in the Junior class (for dogs 9 to 18 months
old) so as not to clash in class with her sister. Even though the
youngest in these classes, Kelly usually won the class and also winning CC's
and RCC's along the way. At her second show in the Puppy Class (and
not quite 7 months old), she won challenge bitch (16 pts), beating a Grand
Champion and other Champions for the award, also taking R/Up BOB and Puppy
In Group. Kelly has won many, Puppy In Group and Puppy In Show awards,
also Junior in Group awards. She has also qualified for the
2001Queensland Classic, winning first place from her first outing (from a
very large class) as did her litter sister Prue.
At 9 months old Kelly was awarded Reserve Challenge bitch and
Junior in Show at our Border Collie Club of Queelsand 2000 Championsip show.
Kelly is eye tested clear, but is too young for hip scoring
