Bawntawn Border Collies

"Georgie"

Bawntawn Georgie Girl

Whelped: 24th May 1998.

Georgie has been a consistent winner in the show ring.  She has won many In Group awards, from Baby Puppy onwards.  After gaining her first 31 points in the Brisbane area (and beating her dam for challenges) from the Minor and Puppy classes, Georgie dropped coat quite early while still in Puppy class.  After quite a long spell to grow coat Georgie went to Rockhampton to live with Glen Martin for 9 months at the beginning of 2000, where he expertly showed her to her Champion title, winning many In Group and In Show awards along the way, including Best In Group and Reserve In Group.  At her last show with Glen (our Border Collie Club of Queensland Championship Show 2000)  she won the Intermediate bitch class and  Intermediate In Show, at the same show she won Best Parent and Offspring with her sire, Ch Khayoz Eternal Echo.  A fitting end to her partnership with Glen, as their first show together was our Border Collie Club Open Show (February 2000), where she was awarded Reserve Bitch.  Georgie started dropping coat on her return home, so hasn't been shown since September 2000.

Georgie is eye tested - clear and hip score of 1:6 (Hip scored by Dr R S Wyburn - West Aust)
